Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. Key Responsibilities: * Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases. * Execute manual and automated tests to identify and document defects and ensure product quality. * Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and create effective testing strategies. * Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing. * Report and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues. * Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality. * Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software quality assurance. * Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective. Required Skills and Qualifications: * Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role. * Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies. * Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). * Experience with test automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript). * Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred Skills: * Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. * Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. * Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI). * Understanding of security testing and best practices. * Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
